Then + Now: How Our 2000s Home Has Changed Drastically

Ready for a tour of our home through the decades? Starting wayyyy back in the 2000s. We bought our home in 2018, but it was still stuck in the old days.

With a lot of DIY, late nights and weekends, a few arguments, and trips to the home improvement store, you too can change your entire home over the span of 5 years.

LIVING ROOM (Then + Now)

We closed the square hole and kept the under-storage area to put Christmas bins and miscellaneous storage. No idea why the gaps were there but now they have a wall full of frames from Frame It Easy!

In 2021 we built a new front room (closing off the space to create a media/game room) and we’re currently finishing an 800 sq ft home addition!

The last things we haven’t touched are the original tile floors in some of the home, a few ceilings, and the pool. We love updating our home for our family’s needs and changing styles.
